Electronic Grade Ammonium Fluoride
Ammonium Fluoride, NH4F, is an ionic compound. At room temperature, it is a white or colorless transparent orthorhombic crystal with slightly sour taste. It is easily deliquescent, decomposed into ammonia and hydrogen fluoride when heated. It is decomposed in hot water and the aqueous solution is a strong acid. It is obtained by neutralizing anhydrous hydrofluoric acid with liquid ammonia. It can corrode glass and is corrosive to skin.
